The Moody Blues Poems....

Dead Man’s Road

Back on the road to Reno,

He drove 66 miles all night to forget the honest sinner

Life’s issues fill the mind of the most sincere,

The mask was taken out of film

Even the 52 cards weren’t enough to gable.

Without the treasure of the heart that single black light shades his eyes.

Emptiness flows with the wind that carries his soul out.

As the night passes... his old Camaro stops in the middle of the cold desert on a desolated road.

Filthy and without any hope he stares at the starry midnight heal.

Forgotten, he dwells in his own secure settlement,

As all else is vague…

The old car radio jamming some true words on the background

Reminds him of his true arte…

As he hears “I’m never alone, I’m alone all the time”

Time strikes the end…our so it seemed.

We are all trapped in one singular fate….

As morning arrives,

He takes out to a new nature...with him a dream…

Something strong but easy to lose in the magnitude of blasphemy’s own physical world.

With the weight of the world and another day on the horizon,

A long road ahead still waits to be driven

Will he survive of fake resistance??
