The Moody Blues Poems....

Watchtower

Dig in!! Said the colored man sitting before me,

Regardless of all, we were lost in our own fiction.

Our lonesome breathes had one meaning,

Like cast away heroes we had the game in our hands.

Dark places looked fearless and drained down glories...flawless.

The tequila fell down as eyes encountered the nature of the man.

Jimi played Foxy Lady,

As Marvin gambled his future down to the gutter.

Shame no one held the numbers out of the game.

There were head longs until the end of the night.

Music fucked our shattered minds.

Hey Joe moon walked us by,

Our car waved to the city goodbye.

In the darkness of Gilligan’s tune,

Your guitar held us on the route till sundown.

A true bohemian play….
