The Moody Blues Poems....

 Nightly Motion

Timeless minutes pass me by.

As I see the floor.

The half full bottle I drank last night…

Still gave me no door.

I had many reasons not to show up,

But I never could resist yours truly.

Midnight groove woke us up.

Like every shot was a hit.

Where were we at??

What made us go that path??

Ahhh….we had to forget those days

Even our persona , we had to surrender…

A bright but obscure wonder that gave me one true friend,

At a time of need.

We ruled the palaces, we didn’t care…..

A real sensation,

Always to high for the sky.

A devoted madman’s world….

After all the clock struck the end,

Everything just faded away.

Like a long lost dream, on a byway….
