The Moody Blues Poems....

A Knights End

Mellow days had begun,

Without a sunrise to see.

Another day to follow up,

He leaves the bitter life behind.

In a cold autumn night.

A dark message flakes upon him as leafs fall down.

As he looks up, nature calls it a final destination.

Ill moments follow the road to the hero’s grave.

His eyes turned black,

No past, present our future,

No women’s touch to get stronger,

No shadow to pull over.

One neverless return from the fatal crossroad.

Getting old before his time.

But still begging for the courage,

To redeem his self respect.

A flawless end to a great knight’s tale.

He had so much to say, but nowhere to state it.

So his glory faded along the way.

And so his will was outdated…
